Lost In Discovery
Приєднався 7 січ 2014
Experiments in physical, mental and spiritual discovery. Life is short. I spent most of my time letting life pass me by. This is my journey to make the most of every day by learning new things, meeting interesting people, and discovering as much as I can.
Life is short. Do More, Do Better.

Tough Mudder Half - Los Angeles 2016
I always wanted to take part in a Tough Mudder but felt that my cardio and strong dislike of running would be a problem. Well this year the Tough Mudder Team did a "Half" version which is basically a tough Mudder Lite - 5 miles and 16 obstacles.
Honestly I had no idea that there would be so many hills which really kicked my ass. I did manage to run into 2 calf cramps 3/4 of the way through the race at the same time which hurt but I still managed to finish in just under 3 hours.
This was such an amazing experience, I already signed up for the full Tough Mudder SoCal in October. If you think this looks like an amazing time, it really is. The Tough Mudder Team puts on a great race full of teamwork and camaraderie. People of all fitness levels compete and if you have the desire to try one, I highly recommend it.

I started weightlifting a few years back during a mid-life crisis as a way to get into shape and started doing the Starting Strength routine by Mark Rippetoe. After becoming more involved in squats, bench and deadlifting I discovered an elusive club that is somewhat of an entry level status in the world of powerlifting. I wanted to get into this magical club but I was around 120lbs short so I s...

Thats not being afraid of heights. You went up in the plane. I would be nervous and freaking out just seeing the small plane. Let alone getting in. Going up. Watching someone jump out....
Hah, here I am watching videos on how to get over your fear of heights as a person who jumped out of a plane 14 times, alone. I wasn't even afraid of heights, and nothing bad ever happened when I jumped (except that I never figured out how to fall in a stable position, hence why I didnt get my licence). Now suddenly I can't even climb to the top of a 3 meter climbing wall, with a thick a$$ mattress bellow me, withiut trembling in fear and my hands getting all sweaty. It may be delayed fright or something, or maybe I'm just more mentally stable so I can feel emotions way more intensely than before, but god d☆mn is it annoying, I just want to jump from a plane properly and get that licence so I can go to competitions, but just the thought is frightening and I have no idea how to get over the fear.
I have a hard time believing he is that afraid. I almost passed out just thinking about it.
That's when Mutil Kamp Skydivers High Sky Fly Diving Fortress Bilmps when one of the bilmps started to fall down
u go first ill follow u next year
This tells me to get over my fear of heights I should always wear a parachute and be guided by an experienced person
I think youre not understanding the term "dealthy afraid" and you sir are not
i cant even get down off a monkey bar its scaryy like rlly scary..
I need to figure this out cause for some reason I agreed to go to Busch gardens and I know people are gonna be pissed if I pussy out of the coasters
It ain't so much the height that worries me! It's the sudden stop at the bottom that causes the issues
I'm scared of heights because I feel like I wanna jump out of excitement? I feel like a second mind appears and tries controlling my body to jump off
Tool
When I looked at Heights My Body shakes 💀
I was scared of MOTHS . Until one day I wasn't scared . Idk why .
I am afraid of heights
I want to stop being afraid of heights
U know what ,u are rich 😊
it only bothers me when my own legs are taking me higher on an exposed staircase. and id bet more than 60-80% of people would have a problem with it too. my best advice is look up!
I’m perfectly fine on solid ground like high buildings, airplanes etc but once I’m on something unstable like a high ladder I get really scared because I feel like I’m going to fall. I also get really scared if I’m close to an edge of a tall building because I feel like someone’s going to push me
i wish training camps like these are more common
There has to be a better way to get over a fear of heights than jumping out of a plane.
You have to be connected to the earth to have the acrophobia kicking in, I have severe acrophobia but I did a fly over Mont Saint-Michel in a microlight, so just a seat, and we went just to 1000 m and at no point did my phobia kicked in, the pilot told me that was because we were flying but If I stood on a tower my phobia would immediately kick in because it is connected to the ground.
I wouldn’t like that if it was me
I’m afraid because I look over a high edge, I think “what if I jump off lol”
Welcome to 2024
I only have acrophobia because I’m afraid that a random ahh perzon would just suddenly seize my $100 airpods and just catapult it from atmosphere 😭 😭 😢
My mind always thinks - yOu ArE gOiNg To DiE 💀
seeing the ground is comforting... but the movie Aeronaut almost killed me
My fear of hights came when i was on a bridge over Jefferson Davis Highway and i nearly fell to my death...
Thanks for sharing. I need help. even just climbing up to the tower I feel so anxious all the time. Every time I’m on the plane, I feel sick , in fear and taking pills. Last time it was just 3 hours flight but I took 4 Pills. crazy
This video prefectly explained the PTSD I am experiencing currently. I visited New York three years ago, and when I reached the top of the Empire State Building, I was so scared to the point that I wanted to go back inside the building!
Honestly, when I look down, I freak out and get wobbly, making me have a chance of almost dying-
I'm nit gonna lie but I have this
I'm not afraid of heights. I'm afraid of something failing and me falling. I can fly in any size aircraft, but I can't climb a stupid ladder two stories up. It's so weird.
What a horrible and fake story latinos
Me to bro I have a fobia of heights I'm going on a plane some time maybe in the future and I wanna get over it
Ever since I broke my arm, Heights make me physically dizzy and fall on the floor and makes the floor feel like it's shaking.
Yeah because we can all afford to just rent a plane and go sky diving. Thought this was going to actually be helpfull.
nice vid im just curious why your last vid was 2016 although your content was good
Base Jumping is fine for me. My fear was the warping of environment placing you to tip over.
I want to be a pilot but I'm afraid of heights
I am afraid of height
In sf, there's a pier without rails. No railing is the factor. It wasn't it high per se but that was scary in itself.
Scared of heights and never skydived, but they just strapped you to a parachute and let you chill in the back of the plane solo with the door open. You must have been anchored to something to stop you accidentally falling out, or been skydiving before.
feeling that i'm high up makes me feel like my feet will slip or the thing on will break
hats off to your sir, i dont think i could do that
Ever since I looked down at the bottom of the ravine of the Grand Canyon, I’ve ever since had a extremely huge fear of heights.
He has balls of steel. I could not.
Mine isn’t the height or the view looking out or down. It’s this fear that I will go crazy and throw myself off the ledge. Not even strong engineering or equipment breaking enters my mind.
You will over come it but if you stay away from practicing, it will come back. thats my experience.
